How to Obtain a Medical Cannabis Card
Patients in Washington State with qualifying health conditions may be eligible for a medical marijuana authorization. Conditions include chronic pain, PTSD, nausea/vomiting, Crohn’s disease, muscle spasms, epilepsy/seizures, glaucoma, traumatic brain injury, Hepatitis C, and cancer. For many patients, medical cannabis can significantly improve symptoms and may help reduce or replace certain medications.

The doctors at Red Fern Health have over 10 years of experience in naturopathic medicine and in supporting patients who are obtaining a medical marijuana authorization for the first time or renewing their existing card.
Getting Started
Patients interested in obtaining a card can schedule an appointment directly with Red Fern Health. First-time patients will need to bring:
- Relevant medical records
- A valid Washington State I.D. or driver’s license
- The visit fee ($100 for first-time visits, $90 for renewals)
Once approved, patients can register with the Washington State Department of Health Medical Marijuana Program, gaining access to tax savings, higher purchase limits, and DOH-compliant products at certified dispensaries like Uncle Willie’s Cannabis.
